Therese MilanovicTherese Milanovic is in demand as both performer and pedagogue. She has performed with Brisbane-based Topology since 2009, including collaborations with the Brodsky String Quartet, drummer Grant Collins, and Heidi Duckler Dance Theatre (USA). With Topology, she has performed at the Brisbane Festival, Queensland Music Festival, Singapore Arts Festival, Salihara Arts Festival (Indonesia), Darwin Festival, Lincoln Center (NYC), and Netherlands and Belgium with the Kransky Sisters (
Therese also adores performing chamber music, bringing both traditional and lesser-known repertoire to the stage. One project close to her heart is the Muses Trio with Louise King and Christa Powell, celebrating music composed and performed by women, including new commissions by Natalie Williams, Kate Neal, and Elena Kats-Chernin (
Therese was the first Australian to become a Taubman Instructor, the focus of her PhD, and is a Master level teacher with the Golandsky Institute (USA). She works with pianists from across Australia and internationally, and regularly presents workshops, teacher training sessions, and lectures. She has been a Keynote Speaker for national conferences: Australasian Piano Pedagogy Conference, Western Australia Pedagogy Convention, and ANZCA’s National Conference.
