Ysolt Clark

Ysolt Clark Born in Canberra, Ysolt Clark studied at the Canberra School Of Music and was appointed Principal Third Horn of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra at the age of twenty-one.  She left this position after eight years, but has since performed with most of the major symphony orchestras in Australia, most recently with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Australian Chamber Orchestra.

Ysolt has dedicated her time pursuing her passion for both music education and chamber music performance.  She is a member of the Southern Cross Soloists,  frequently performs with Camerata and works with the ELISION Ensemble and the Lunaire Collective.  Ysolt has been a member of the successful horn teaching team at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University for the last fifteen years.  She has directed the QHorn ensemble from the Con in Queensland, the U.S., and most recently in Brazil.  She has also taught at ANAM and is in demand as an educator both privately and within schools.
