2022 Festival

The 2022 Australian Piano Duo Festival will be held October 15-16, in the Nickson Room, School of Music, University of Queensland.

Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Australian Piano Duo Festival, we are proud to present two exciting and diverse concerts with ten of Australia’s finest pianists most of whom have been with us from the start, together with some new faces.

Our motto of “Bringing Pianists together” has stood the test of time over the past 10 years and we were thrilled to once again present our fine young pianists from the Young Conservatorium, in a concert at the Brisbane City Hall on August 2nd, 2022.

We look forward to celebrating our 10th Anniversary with wonderful duet and duo music from Schubert to Piazzolla, and to feature the works of four Australian composers.  Come join us in the intimate setting of the Nickson room, at the University of Queensland's School of Music.
